How long it lasts
The panel is rated for 8 to 10 years outdoors. The printed ink layer is rated for up to 2 years outdoors in normal Australian conditions, and much longer indoors. That makes ACM ideal for shop signs, wall panels, retail displays and feature walls, and medium-term outdoor signs.
Orders up to $1,000 + GST placed before the 1pm Melbourne cut-off are dispatched in 2 business days. Larger orders show their date in the Job Summary before you order.

Job Summary
Composite Panel
Our Composite Panel signs are made on 3mm ImageBond lite Aluminium Composite Panel (ACM, also called ACP). Each sheet has two 0.21mm aluminium skins bonded to a polyethylene core, giving a flat, rigid and dimensionally stable board that's light enough to handle and install easily.
We print direct to the panel on our UV flatbed for vibrant colour and sharp detail, then cut each sign on our Zünd router, as a square/rectangle or a custom shape. Sizes run from 150 x 150mm up to 2400 x 1200mm, printed single-sided.
The panel itself is rated for 8 to 10 years outdoors, while the printed ink layer is rated for up to 2 years outdoors in normal Australian conditions. That makes Composite Panel ideal for long-term indoor signage, retail displays, architectural panels, feature walls and medium-term outdoor signs. See our ACM guide for more.

Yes. The panel is rated for 8 to 10 years outdoors, but the printed UV ink layer is rated for up to 2 years of outdoor exposure in normal Australian conditions. It's ideal for long-term indoor displays and medium-term outdoor signs.
We print and router-cut only. We don't drill, tape, laminate or frame panels. On ACM we can router-cut a hole of at least 6mm in diameter if you mark it with a Thru-cut line in your artwork. See the Composite Panel Print Only Artwork Guidelines in the Download tab for setup.
Yes. Choose Custom in the Shape step and add a closed Thru-cut line to your artwork (see the Composite Panel Print Only Artwork Guidelines in the Download tab). We router-cut it on our Zünd for a clean, precise edge.
ImageBond Lite carries a fire rating of B-s1, d0. However, if your application requires strict fire-protection compliance or construction-grade certification, this product may not be suitable. We recommend consulting with the relevant certifier, builder, or fire engineer to confirm material suitability through another supplier, as we would not recommend this stock where absolute fire-rating certainty is required.
Lead times are based on order value, for orders placed before the 1pm Melbourne cut-off: up to $1,000 + GST is dispatched in 2 business days, up to $3,000 in 3, up to $5,000 in 4, up to $7,000 in 5 and up to $9,000 in 6. Larger orders show their dispatch date in the Job Summary before you order.
Composite Panel pricing is calculated using a true cost, sheet based production model rather than square metre pricing. Panels are produced and printed in full sheet sizes, meaning pricing may remain the same across certain quantity ranges and then step up only when an additional panel is required. This reflects the actual cost of materials, machining, handling, and waste, ensuring transparent pricing with no hidden cost recovery. Compared to square metre pricing models, this approach delivers clearer cost alignment and more predictable outcomes for trade customers.
No. Composite Panel orders must be submitted using the options and turnaround times available in our system, and we’re unable to accommodate one-off changes outside of those parameters. Our production model is designed around standardised workflows that ensure consistent quality and delivery. If you identify a long-term opportunity driven by volume or market demand, we welcome that feedback for future review.
