One Way Vision
Printed on a 140-micron monomeric calendered PVC with a clear, removable solvent-based acrylic adhesive. It is suited to short-term shopfront promotions, office windows, display graphics and eligible commercial vehicle applications, subject to local vehicle-window and visible-light-transmission rules.
The one-way viewing and privacy effect depends on lighting conditions. It is strongest when the printed side is brighter than the viewing side. This is general industry guidance rather than a claim stated in the EasyVision technical data sheet, so the product should not be sold as guaranteed night-time privacy.
Job Summary
One Way Vision
One Way Vision turns unused glass into high-impact advertising space without completely closing off the view from inside. It uses EasyVision ET6-9085, a white-on-black perforated window film with a 60% printable area and 40% open area. The white face carries the printed graphic, while the black reverse and perforations help occupants look through the film from inside.
The film is designed for windows, glass doors, retail promotions and display graphics. It uses a clear removable acrylic adhesive and carries an unprinted outdoor durability rating of up to 1 year, making it suited to short-term and campaign-based applications.
Lighting is central to the visual result. The graphic and privacy effect are strongest when the printed side is brighter than the interior. Because this lighting limitation is general industry guidance rather than a statement in the EasyVision technical sheet, do not promise guaranteed 24-hour privacy.
One-Way Visibility
The perforated film allows graphics to be viewed clearly from the printed side while maintaining visibility through the window from inside. For the best one-way effect, the outside of the window should be brighter than the inside.
Durable Window Graphics
Printed with durable UVgel inks, our One Way Vision delivers bold, fade-resistant colour for promotional, retail and vehicle window applications for up to 1 year. The black backing helps improve image contrast while preserving visibility through the perforations.
Precision Zünd Cutting
Each graphic is thru-cut on our Zünd cutting table for clean edges and accurate sizing. Simple shape cutting makes installation easier across windows, shopfronts and other smooth glass surfaces.
Sustainability
Low-VOC UVgel Printing
Printed on our Canon Colorado using GREENGUARD Gold-certified, low-VOC UVgel inks cured under energy-efficient LED lamps. This process produces durable, vibrant window graphics while reducing emissions during printing.
Solar-Powered Production
Our Melbourne facility operates with a 99 kW solar system that generates most of our daytime energy, helping reduce the carbon impact of producing your One Way Vision graphics.
Locally Printed in Australia
All One Way Vision graphics are printed and finished in Melbourne, supporting Australian manufacturing and reducing the transport emissions associated with overseas production.
Made to Order to Reduce Waste
Each graphic is produced to the required size and precision cut for the application. Our automated production process helps optimise material usage and minimise unnecessary production waste.
FAQ
The film has a printable white face, a black reverse and small perforations across 40% of the surface. From outside, the eye focuses on the brighter printed graphic. From inside, the black reverse is less noticeable and the eye focuses through the perforations to the view outside.
Not reliably. The one-way effect depends on the printed side being brighter than the interior. During the day this is normally the case, but at night a brightly lit interior can become visible from outside. Blinds or curtains are still needed where guaranteed night-time privacy is required.
The white side is the printable face, while the black reverse is the adhesive side. One Way Vision is generally applied to the outside of the glass, with the printed side facing outward and the black side facing inside. This allows the graphic to be seen from outside while maintaining visibility through the window from inside (so long as there is more light on the outside).
The product uses Evolve EasyVision ET6-9085, a 140-micron (+/-5%) white-on-black monomeric calendered PVC with a 60% printable area, 40% open area and 1.6 mm perforations. It uses a clear removable solvent-based acrylic adhesive and a double-sided PE-coated silicone-paper liner.
The supplier rates the unprinted material for up to 1 year outdoors. The adhesive is described as removable, but the EasyVision technical data sheet does not state a guaranteed clean-removal period or promise residue-free removal. Actual performance can vary with printing, installation, substrate and exposure.
We do not offer lamination on One Way Vision. Standard laminates can interfere with the perforations, trap moisture and air, and may cause bubbling or reduce visibility through the film. Our One Way Vision is therefore supplied unlaminated. After rain or cleaning, small amounts of water may temporarily sit within the perforations, but this will usually clear as the surface dries.
One Way Vision is for transparent surfaces such as windows and glass doors. The technical sheet recommends testing the product on the original surface before use because performance can vary by substrate and application. A flat smooth surface is preferred.
The spec sheet recommends for shopfronts and larger commercial or goods-carrying vehicles, but vehicle-window use is subject to visible-light-transmission and local road rules. The reseller, installer and end user are responsible for confirming that the intended window and location are legal.
No. The film is designed to limit visibility from outside while maintaining view-through from inside, but the effect depends on lighting, viewing distance and print coverage. Do not sell it as guaranteed day-and-night privacy. This lighting qualification is general industry guidance and should be reviewed before publishing.
Trim adjoining panels to form a butt seam. Do not overlap them. Keep the film at least 3 mm back from glass edges and away from rubber window mouldings.
The supplier reports 60% glare reduction and 33% solar-energy transmission on 3 mm glass for the unprinted 40% film. These are reference values only; real performance depends on the glass, print coverage, orientation and installation.
