Unlike traditional foam core, KAPAplast features a polyurethane foam core with plastic-coated liners, making it significantly stronger, more dent-resistant, and better suited for long-term or high-touch indoor use. Its bright white surface offers excellent print quality, with sharp image definition and vibrant colour reproduction.

With the inclusion of double-sided rear taping and a variety of placement options, installation is quick, clean, and hassle-free - perfect for mounting signs to walls, windows, counters, or other smooth surfaces without the need for tools or hardware.

KAPAplast is ideal for hanging signage, reception displays, exhibitions, marketing collateral, and event branding, especially when a more professional finish and longer-lasting material is required. It remains lightweight for easy transport and installation, while offering a more robust alternative to standard foam core.

KAPAplast – With Taping

Our KAPAplast – With Taping signage offers the same lightweight, rigid indoor board with added convenience for installation. Each panel features a polyurethane foam core with polystyrene (PS) liners, producing a flat, smooth surface for exceptional print quality. Panels are pre-finished with 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape for quick and reliable mounting onto smooth surfaces. Available in 5mm, 10mm, and 19mm thicknesses, this option removes the need for additional adhesives or tools. KAPAplast is for indoor use only and V-cutting is not available for this product.

No. KAPAplast is printed single-sided only to ensure a consistent, high-quality surface finish.

Can these signs be cut to custom shapes?

No. We only offer straight rectangular cuts to maintain precisionand automation in our taping processes.

What type of tape is used?

We use 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape with a solvent-based acrylic adhesive for secure indoor mounting.

Is KAPAplast suitable for long-term display?

Yes. KAPAplast offers strong rigidity and surface stability, ideal for medium to long-term indoor applications.

How should I clean or maintain KAPAplast signage?

Gently wipe with a soft, dry or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh solvents or abrasive materials that may damage the PS surface.

Can I change or cancel my order after submitting it?

Once an order enters production, it cannot be modified or cancelled. Please review your artwork and specifications before submitting.

Do you offer trade accounts, or is prepayment required?

All orders require prepayment unless you hold an approved Mediapoint trade account. Accounts are available to resellers with annual spend exceeding $20,000 and a proven payment record.

Can I order a sample before placing a large order?

Yes. For orders over $1,000, we recommend ordering a small sample first to confirm print quality and finish.

What is the print finish?

KAPAplast signage is printed with UV-cured inks, producing a smooth matte finish that enhances colour accuracy and detail.

What are the standard turnaround times?

If artwork is approved before our daily cut-off, production is typically one business day for jobs under $500+ GST. Each $1,500+GST will add a production day to the lead time.

What surfaces will the tape stick to?

The Hyena tape adheres best to clean, smooth surfaces like glass, acrylic, and painted panels. Avoid non-stick or textured finishes for best results.

Why does pricing change in steps instead of increasing evenly with quantity?

Pricing for KAPAplast with Taping follows a true cost, sheet based production model rather than linear square metre pricing. KAPAplast sheets are printed in full sizes, with taping applied as a defined finishing step, so pricing may remain the same until an additional sheet or finishing run is required. This ensures pricing accurately reflects material usage, finishing labour, production time, and waste handling. By pricing this way, we deliver transparent, consistent costs and avoid the hidden inefficiencies common in square metre pricing models, benefiting resellers over time.

Can you make exceptions to finishes or turnaround times for one-off KAPAplast with Taping orders?

No. Orders for KAPAplast with Taping are produced strictly within the options available in our system, and we’re unable to make one-off adjustments to finishes or turnaround times. These workflows are designed to support efficient production and reliable trade delivery, and we do not offer manual processing outside the platform.
