KAPAplast - Print Only

24 Hour Production
24 Hour Production
KAPAplast is a premium lightweight indoor signage material designed for high-impact visual presentation and durability. Unlike traditional foam core, KAPAplast features a polyurethane foam core with plastic-coated liners, making it significantly stronger, more dent-resistant, and better suited for long-term or high-touch indoor use. Its bright white surface offers excellent print quality, with sharp image definition and vibrant colour reproduction.

KAPAplast is ideal for hanging signage, reception displays, exhibitions, marketing collateral, and event branding, especially when a more professional finish and longer-lasting material is required. It remains lightweight for easy transport and installation, while offering a more robust alternative to standard foam core.

Boards can be cut to custom sizes and shapes up to 2400mm x 1200mm.

KAPAplast – Print Only

Our KAPAplast – Print Only signage is a lightweight indoor display solution made from a polyurethane foam core with durable polystyrene (PS) surfaces. This combination provides a flat, smooth surface for high-quality UV printing and mounting, making it ideal for retail environments, exhibitions, POS displays, and interior branding. Available in 5mm, 10mm, and 19mm thicknesses, KAPAplast delivers excellent rigidity while remaining easy to handle and transport. This product is for indoor use only and we do not offer V-cutting on this material.

Lightweight & Rigid

KAPAplast combines a lightweight foam core with rigid PS surfaces, providing strength and dimensional stability without the bulk of solid substrates.

Easy to Handle & Install

Lightweight construction simplifies transport, setup, and mounting, making KAPAplast an efficient option for large-format display projects.

Enhanced Surface Strength

KAPAplast’s rigid PS liners offer better resistance to dents and edge damage than softer foam boards, maintaining a tidy appearance through repeated handling.

Sustainability

Lightweight Material Efficiency

KAPAplast’s foam core uses less raw material than solid plastic boards, reducing total resource use during manufacturing.

Lower Transport Emissions

Its low weight decreases transport energy requirements and emissions compared to heavier display materials.

Recyclable Polystyrene Liners

The PS liners can be recycled in approved facilities, contributing to circular material recovery where available.

Low-VOC UV Ink Technology

Printed using Durst POP Flexible LED inks that are VOC-free and energy-efficient, reducing emissions and environmental impact while maintaining vibrant, durable print quality.

KAPAplast Print Only pricing is calculated using a true cost, sheet based production model rather than square metre estimates. Sheets are printed in full formats, meaning pricing may remain flat across certain quantity ranges and then step up only when an additional sheet is required. This reflects the real cost of material usage, print setup, handling, and waste, ensuring there are no hidden cost recoveries built into the pricing. This model provides clear, predictable pricing and avoids the distortions that can occur with square metre based approaches, particularly on efficiently laid out jobs.

No. KAPAplast Print Only orders must follow the configurations and turnaround times available in our system at the time of ordering, and we’re unable to accommodate individual exceptions outside of those parameters. This ensures predictable production, accurate costing, and consistent quality across all jobs. If you have feedback based on recurring usage, regular volume, or customer demand that could justify a system-level improvement, we’re open to reviewing it for future inclusion.
