Made from Spicers Ace Screenboard (2mm thick, approx. 1100gsm), this material provides a premium white print surface with excellent rigidity and smoothness for superior print results. FSC® Mix Certified and Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF), it combines environmental responsibility with professional-grade performance.

Available in 2mm thickness only, with a maximum sheet size of 1200mm x 2400mm. Recommended for indoor use only, including POS displays, hanging signs, and counter cards.

What thickness is available for Screenboard?

We offer Screenboard in 2mm only. This thickness provides the ideal balance between rigidity and weight for retail and point-of-sale display applications.

Can Screenboard be used outdoors?

No. Screenboard is for indoor use only. It is not moisture resistant and may warp or delaminate if exposed to humidity, rain, or outdoor conditions.

Can I print on both sides of Screenboard?

Yes. Screenboard is double-sided printable, featuring a bright white coated surface on both sides that delivers excellent print vibrancy for UV, screen, or latex printing.

Is Screenboard environmentally friendly?

Yes. Screenboard is FSC® Mix Certified, made from Elemental Chlorine-Free (ECF) pulp, and is fully recyclable — providing an eco-friendly alternative to plastic substrates.

What is Screenboard best used for?

Screenboard is ideal for retail and promotional displays, including POS signage, hanging signs, counter cards, packaging backers, and sample cards. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and provides a premium paperboard finish.

Can you cut Screenboard into custom shapes?

Yes. We can cut Screenboard into simple or contour shapes for freestanding, hanging, or wall-mounted displays. Complex, highly detailed shapes may not be suitable for this material due to its fibrous core.

How should I store Screenboard before printing or use?

Store Screenboard flat and dry in a climate-controlled environment (20°C–25°C, 40–60% relative humidity). Avoid leaning boards or exposing them to humidity to prevent warping and edge curl.

What inks are compatible with Screenboard?

Screenboard is compatible with UV-curable, screen, and latex inks. It is also HP Latex Certified, ensuring strong ink adhesion and consistent colour reproduction.

Can I order a sample before a large Screenboard run?

Yes. We recommend ordering a small test run before committing to a larger job, particularly for new artwork or display applications. This allows you to confirm print colour, finish, and handling suitability.

Do you offer trade accounts or require prepayment?

All orders require prepayment unless you hold an approved Mediapoint trade account. Accounts are available to resellers spending over $20,000 annually with a strong payment history.

Why does pricing change in steps instead of increasing evenly with quantity?

Screenboard Print Only pricing follows a true cost, sheet based production model rather than linear square metre pricing. Sheets are printed in full sizes, so pricing may remain unchanged across certain quantities and then increase only when an additional sheet is required. This reflects the real cost of materials, print time, handling, and waste processing, ensuring accurate and transparent pricing. By avoiding square metre pricing, this model eliminates hidden inefficiencies and supports more consistent margins for trade customers.

Can you make exceptions to finishes or turnaround times for one-off Screenboard Print Only orders?

No. Screenboard Print Only orders are limited to the options and turnaround times available within our system, and we’re unable to process one-off variations outside of those settings. Our workflows are designed to deliver consistent results and fair pricing at scale, and manual workarounds are not supported. Feedback tied to recurring volume or wider customer needs may be reviewed as part of future system development.
