Yellow Corflute® - Print Only
As one of the most economical signage options available, Yellow Corflute® is well suited to bulk production and fast turnaround requirements without compromising durability or legibility. The lightweight corrugated plastic construction features hollow flutes running through the board, making signs easy to transport, install and fix using adhesive, screws or nails.
Yellow Corflute® performs reliably as a short term outdoor and long term indoor signage solution. The weather resistant material helps maintain condition for extended periods outdoors, while indoor use offers exceptional longevity. This makes it a practical and widely used option for construction sites, warehouses, factories, roadworks, event safety signage, temporary hazards, directional notices and general workplace safety communication.
Boards can be cut to custom sizes and shapes up to 2400mm × 1200mm, allowing flexibility across a wide range of safety and compliance requirements. Yellow Corflute® remains a practical, high visibility and cost effective choice wherever clear safety messaging is essential.
Job Summary
Yellow Corflute Signs
Yellow Corflute Signs are a simple, high-visibility signage solution commonly used for safety messaging, construction notices, temporary warnings, and short-term promotional displays. The bright yellow substrate helps information stand out clearly, making it ideal for environments where visibility and legibility are critical. Lightweight and easy to handle, Yellow Corflute is designed as a cost-effective, print-only option for trade resellers who need fast turnaround and reliable results. Its affordable nature allows signs to be replaced quickly and economically if damaged or updated, making it well suited to both small orders and bulk projects where speed and practicality matter.
High-Visibility Yellow Substrate
Yellow Corflute provides a bold, high-contrast base that is ideal for safety messaging, temporary notices, construction signage, and attention-grabbing displays. The coloured substrate allows key information to stand out without the need for full-coverage colour printing.
Lightweight & Easy to Handle
Despite its rigidity, Yellow Corflute remains lightweight and easy to transport, install, and remove. This makes it practical for temporary signage, site use, and situations where signs may need to be replaced or relocated quickly.
Optimised for Black Ink Printing
This product is best suited to black-only artwork, delivering strong contrast and clear legibility on the yellow background. Printing without white ink keeps production streamlined and pricing competitive for trade customers.
Sustainability
Recyclable Polypropylene Material
Yellow Corflute is manufactured from polypropylene (PP), a recyclable plastic that can be reprocessed through appropriate recycling streams when handled correctly at end of life.
PVC-Free & Low-Impact Substrate
The material is PVC-free and does not contain chlorine or heavy metals, making it a lower-impact alternative to traditional PVC signage boards while still delivering durability and rigidity.
Low-VOC UV Print Technology
All printing is completed using low-VOC UV ink technology, designed to minimise harmful emissions during production and support a cleaner print environment.
Efficient, Lightweight Design
The lightweight nature of Corflute reduces material usage and freight weight compared to heavier substrates, contributing to improved transport efficiency and lower associated emissions.
FAQ
Yellow Corflute is most commonly used for high-visibility signage where clear, immediate messaging is more important than colour accuracy or photographic detail. Typical applications include safety signage, construction and site notices, temporary warnings, directional signs, and short-term promotional messaging. The bright yellow substrate helps attract attention quickly, even from a distance, making it well suited to environments where visibility and legibility are critical.
Yellow Corflute is printed using CMYK inks only, and white ink is not available on this product. Because the base material is yellow, colours such as cyan, magenta, and lighter tones will visually mix with the substrate and may appear muted, washed out, or altered from on-screen previews. For the clearest and most reliable results, we strongly recommend black-only artwork, which provides maximum contrast and readability on the yellow background.
White ink is not offered on Yellow Corflute because it would require a different print workflow, additional ink layers, and slower production speeds that fall outside this product’s streamlined, trade-focused production model. Yellow Corflute is intentionally positioned as a simple, cost-effective print-only option, and adding white ink would significantly increase complexity, cost, and turnaround time.
While CMYK printing is technically available, full-colour artwork is not recommended on Yellow Corflute. Without a white ink base, all colours are affected by the yellow substrate, which can significantly alter colour appearance and reduce contrast. Customers are responsible for approving artwork with this limitation in mind, and we recommend restricting designs to black text, icons, and simple graphics for best results.
The maximum sheet size for Yellow Corflute is 2400mm × 1200mm, which represents a full Corflute sheet. Custom sizes can be produced within this sheet size, allowing flexibility for both small and large signage requirements.
No. Once an order is submitted, it immediately enters an automated production workflow and cannot be changed or cancelled. Jobs are often queued for prepress or printing within minutes of submission. Please ensure artwork, sizes, quantities, and design suitability for the yellow substrate are reviewed carefully before checkout.
No. Yellow Corflute is supplied as a print-only product and does not include lamination or additional coatings. The UV-cured inks used in production provide sufficient durability for typical short- to medium-term applications without the need for extra finishing.
Yellow Corflute is designed for short- to medium-term outdoor use. Under typical Australian conditions, the substrate will generally perform for approximately 12–24 months, depending on UV exposure, installation method, wind load, and overall environmental conditions. Indoor use can significantly extend the life of the signage.
No. Each Yellow Corflute job can include one size only, although multiple artworks can be supplied for that same size. If you require additional sizes, these must be submitted as separate jobs. This structure allows our prepress, printing, and finishing systems to remain optimised for speed, accuracy, and reliability. We do not accept multiple cut outs on one sheet.
No. Corflute signs are produced single sided only, as this product is designed to be a lightweight, cost-effective signage solution where a single printed face is sufficient for most applications such as construction sites, events, and temporary displays. Double-sided printing is not supported due to the material characteristics of Corflute and the streamlined production processes used for this product. If your application requires printing on both sides, we recommend selecting our Corrugated Plastic signage option instead, which is specifically engineered to support double-sided printing while maintaining structural stability and consistent print quality.
Pricing is calculated using a true-cost, sheet-based production model, not estimated square-metre pricing. Yellow Corflute signs are produced in full sheet runs, so pricing may remain the same across certain quantity ranges and then increase only when an additional sheet is required. This approach reflects actual material usage, processing, and waste handling costs, providing transparent and predictable pricing for trade customers.
