    Standee printing for the trade. A standee is a freestanding, life-size display that stands on its own with a fold-out strut, no hardware needed. Mediapoint prints custom standees for print resellers, sign shops and agencies, UV printed in-house in Melbourne and blind-shipped under your brand.

    Unlike traditional cardboard standees, the printed face is rigid board: choose 3mm or 5mm Corrugated Plastic, 3mm Foamed PVC, or 5mm or 10mm KAPAplast. Only the fold-out strut on the back is cardboard.

    • Any size up to 1200mm wide x 2400mm high, ordered online
    • Square or rectangle, or a custom simple shape with up to five points, cut on our Zünd table
    • Fitted with a cardboard double strut: 800mm for standees under 1500mm high, 1400mm for standees from 1500mm to 2400mm high
    • Single-sided print, supplied ready to stand: fold out the strut and it's done
    • Indoor use only: standees catch the wind, and the cardboard strut can't get wet
    • Multiple artworks in one order at no extra cost, and a single standee is a valid order

    Standee

    Our Standees are full-size printed displays designed to grab attention in retail, event and promotional spaces. Each one is UV printed directly onto a rigid board, Corrugated Plastic, Foamed PVC or KAPAplast, for vibrant, photo-quality colour on a smooth matte surface. Every standee includes a fold-out cardboard strut that locks into place, so the display stands upright and stable without any extra hardware. They're ideal for in-store promotions, trade shows, shopping centre displays and event photo boards, indoors.

    Each Standee includes a pre-attached backing strut that folds out and locks in seconds. There’s no need for extra stands, tape, or assembly tools it’s ready to go straight out of the box. This makes setup fast and hassle-free for store staff, event teams, and installers.

    The fold-out strut on every standee is made from recyclable cardboard, and the face boards are lightweight, so each display uses minimal material and is easy to move and reuse across multiple events and promotions.

    Our Derrimut facility runs on a 99 kW solar power system that generates most of our energy needs during the day. Every job produced helps reduce reliance on traditional power sources and lowers our carbon footprint. By using clean, renewable energy to power our UV printers and finishing equipment, we’re able to print high-quality products in a way that supports a more sustainable future for the industry.

    Low-VOC UV Printing

    Printed using our low-VOC, Greenguard-certified Durst UV inks, each job is produced under LED curing for minimal emissions. This process delivers cleaner production and long-lasting, odour-free prints.

    Locally Made in Australia

    Every Standee is printed and finished locally in Melbourne, reducing freight emissions from overseas production. Local manufacturing supports faster turnaround and reliable quality for Australian trade customers.

    Five boards are available: 3mm Corrugated Plastic, a light all-round option for temporary displays; 5mm Corrugated Plastic, stiffer for larger freestanding panels; 3mm Foamed PVC, a smooth premium finish for retail and presentations; and 5mm or 10mm KAPAplast for a light but very rigid panel. All are UV printed in high resolution, and can be cut to simple custom shapes with up to five smooth points.

    The strut is a fold-out backing support made from a brown cardboard. It folds flat during shipping and locks into position when you’re ready to display. It’s designed to hold the standee securely upright without extra equipment.

    Yes, we cut simple shapes around your artwork on our Zünd cutting table: smooth outlines or simple convex shapes with up to five points, like rounded logos or clean silhouette edges. Extremely detailed or concave shapes aren't available. Keep the centre 350mm of the bottom edge flat and continuous, with no cut-ins or holes, because that's where the strut sits.     We can produce Standees up to 2400 millimetres high by 1200 millimetres wide, which suits most life-size displays and retail installations. Smaller sizes can also be ordered to fit your design or venue requirements.
    Yes, every Standee is pre-cut and ready to use. The strut is attached and folds flat for shipping. Once unpacked, simply fold out the strut and it’s ready to display.

    No, standees are for indoor use only. They're tall and light, so they catch the wind, and the cardboard strut can't get wet. For a freestanding sign outside, see our Corflute® A-Frames.

    Yes, you can enter any custom size within our maximum limits when ordering. There’s no minimum quantity you can order one standee or hundreds, depending on your project needs.

    Turnaround is in business days to dispatch, for orders placed before the 1pm Melbourne cut-off: up to $500 + GST next day, up to $1,000 two days, up to $2,000 three days, up to $3,000 four days and up to $4,000 five days. Larger orders show their dispatch date in your Job Summary before you order.

    No, Standees are single-sided only. The back of the board is unprinted to allow space for the fold-out strut and to maintain rigidity.
    Once an order is submitted, it goes straight into production. Because of our automated workflow, changes or cancellations aren’t possible. Please double-check your artwork, size, and quantity before confirming your order.
    No, each job is shipped to one address only. This helps us maintain speed and consistency across all orders. If you need delivery to multiple locations, we recommend using a third-party logistics provider, and we can refer trusted partners if needed.
    We don’t offer design services as we operate exclusively for trade resellers. However, our system checks for common issues like missing bleed or incorrect trim boxes to prevent production delays.
    All orders are prepaid unless you hold an approved trade account. Trade accounts are offered to resellers who reach a consistent monthly spend and maintain good payment history.
    We consistently meet or beat the dispatch dates shown in your account. Over ninety-nine percent of jobs leave our factory on or before schedule. While we can’t control courier delays, we work with reliable freight partners to keep delivery times predictable.
    Yes, you can order a single standee as a sample. This helps you confirm print quality, shape, and finish before placing a larger campaign order.

    Choose a standee for a shaped or life-size display, such as a cut-out of a person or product, that stands on the floor at a fixed size. Choose a pull up banner for a tall rectangular banner that rolls into its base and travels between events. Our portable display guide compares pull up banners, toblerone signs and standees.

    No. Standee orders must be placed using the sizes, material options, and turnaround times available in our system at the time of ordering, and we’re unable to make exceptions or manually process one-off requests outside of those options. Standees are produced using structured print, cut, and assembly workflows to ensure correct fit, stability, and presentation, and our production scheduling relies on those defined processes to deliver reliable lead times across trade volumes. We do not have a workaround for bypassing the system for individual standee jobs, as doing so introduces risk to quality control and assembly accuracy. If you have feedback based on repeat usage, regular volume, or a broader customer requirement, we welcome that input for consideration as a long-term system enhancement.
