Foamed PVC with Taping is a strong and durable indoor signage material made from a compressed foam board, with a secure mounting option thanks to the inclusion of rear taping. It offers more resistance to dents and damage compared to foam core, while still being flexible enough to bend slightly, making it easier to transport and install. Unlike some other substrates, Foamed PVC has a high tolerance to heat, making it well suited for use in environments that experience warmer temperatures, especially during summer.

With the inclusion of double-sided rear taping and a variety of placement options, installation is quick, clean, and hassle-free - perfect for mounting signs to walls, windows, counters, or other smooth surfaces without the need for tools or hardware.

Common applications include point-of-sale displays, reception signage, event and exhibition panels, headers, and other presentation or branding materials. Foamed PVC with Taping can be supplied in custom sizes up to 2400mm x 1200mm.

Our Foamed PVC – With Taping product provides a convenient, ready-to-mount indoor signage solution. Produced from FOREX®Lite 3mm Foamed PVC, it delivers a brilliant white matte surface ideal for retail, exhibitions, and interior branding. Each sign is pre-finished with 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape for quick and secure installation onto smooth surfaces.

This product is available in 3mm thickness only and printed single-sided for the best indoor performance. Taping is applied using automated systems for accuracy and consistency across every panel.

What is the largest size for Foamed PVC Signs?

The maximum sheet size is 2400mm x 1200mm. Custom sizes smaller than this can be ordered but must remain rectangular.

Can Foamed PVC be used outdoors?

No. This product is designed for indoor use only. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture may affect surface quality.

Can these signs be cut to custom shapes?

No. We only offer straight rectangular cuts to maintain precisionand automation in our taping processes.

What type of tape is used?

We use 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape featuring solvent-based acrylic adhesive for strong, clean indoor mounting.

Is Foamed PVC suitable for long-term display?

Yes. FOREX®Lite has excellent dimensional stability, making it ideal for medium to long-term indoor displays.

How should I clean or maintain my Foamed PVC signs?

Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners that may dull the surface.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Once an order is submitted, it immediately enters production and cannot be changed or cancelled. Please check artwork carefully before confirming.

Do you offer accounts, or is prepayment required?

All orders require prepayment unless you hold an approved Mediapoint trade account. Accounts are available for resellers with over $20,000 annual spend and strong payment history.

Can I get a sample before a large order?

Yes. We recommend ordering a small sample to confirm print quality, tape quality and surface finish before proceeding with a large production run. If this option is not taken out on orders over $1000 we offer no recourse.

What is the print finish?

All Foamed PVC signs are printed using UV-cured inks with a smooth matte finish for a professional, non-glare appearance.

What are the turnaround times?

If artwork is approved before our daily cut-off, production is typically one business day for orders under $500 + GST. Past this point $1,500+GST adds a business day to the lead time.

What surfaces will the tape stick to, and which should I avoid?

The Hyena tape adheres best to smooth, clean indoor surfaces like painted panels, glass, and acrylic. Avoid dusty, textured, or non-stick surfaces for best results.

Why does pricing change in steps instead of increasing evenly with quantity?

Pricing for Foamed PVC with Taping is based on a true cost, sheet driven production model rather than estimated square metre pricing. Foamed PVC is printed in full sheets, with taping applied as a structured finishing process, so pricing may stay consistent as quantities increase until an additional sheet or finishing pass is required. This ensures pricing accurately reflects material consumption, finishing labour, processing time, and waste handling. The result is transparent, predictable pricing that avoids the inconsistencies often created by square metre models and supports stronger reseller margins on well planned jobs.

Can you make exceptions to finishes or turnaround times for one-off Foamed PVC with Taping orders?

No. Foamed PVC with Taping orders can only be produced using the finishes and turnaround times currently available in our system, and we’re unable to alter taping methods or lead times for one-off requests. Our production model relies on repeatable, system-based processes to deliver consistent trade outcomes, and off-system workarounds are not supported. Where feedback relates to regular volume or a broader market need, we encourage you to share it with us for review as a potential long-term enhancement.
