Corflute® Eco with Taping signs are the perfect choice for clients who want an eco-friendly signage solution, flexible design and secure mounting options thanks to the inclusion of rear taping. Corflute® Eco is an environmentally conscious choice, helping to reduce landfill and promote the circular use of materials without compromising on quality.

Corflute® Eco is made from a combination of consumer and post-industrial waste. The sheet usually has an off-white or light grey appearance with a very subtle speckle due to its recycled content. Sheet colour may vary slightly between batches, which is a natural result of the recycling process.

With the inclusion of double-sided rear taping and a variety of placement options, installation is quick, clean, and hassle-free - perfect for mounting signs to walls, windows, counters, or other smooth surfaces without the need for tools or hardware. The hollow flutes within the board make it exceptionally lightweight, allowing for easy transport, installation, and secure mounting. It is suitable for short-term outdoor use and long-term indoor display, with organisations printing warning signs, instructions, in-store advertising and other POS collateral and enjoying it for years to come.

Corflute® Eco – With Taping

Corflute® Eco – With Taping delivers a balance of sustainability and efficiency for easy mounting. Made from Corex Corflute® Eco sheets using 50% recycled and 50% virgin polypropylene, this board is Carbon Neutral Certified and fully recyclable through Corex Recycling. Each sign includes pre-applied 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape on the rear for quick installation.

Available in 5mm thickness and single-sided print only, the stock has a soft off-white to light grey tone with a subtle speckle finish due to recycled content. Taping layouts are automated and cannot be customised.

What thickness is available for Corflute® Eco products?

Corflute® Eco is available in 5mm only. This maintains structural integrity and consistency across all eco signage options.

Can I print on both sides of the board?

No, due to the recycled content and taping/eyeleting options, these products are single-sided print only.

Will the recycled material look different from standard Corflute®?

Yes. Corflute® Eco has an off-white to light grey appearance with a subtle speckle due to recycled content. Colour tone may vary slightly between sheets.

Can these signs be cut to custom shapes?

No. This product is available in rectangular cuts only. Custom shapes would interfere with the automated taping and alignment process, which is designed for efficient, consistent finishing.

What type of tape is used?

We use 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape with a solvent-based acrylic adhesive for long-lasting adhesion to most approved surfaces. The tape is PVC-free and engineered for high-performance indoor use.

Is the tape suitable for outdoor use?

The Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape performs reliably indoors and in short- to medium-term outdoor applications. The solvent acrylic adhesive maintains strong bonding from –40°C to 100°C, though the tissue carrier is not intended for prolonged moisture or direct rain exposure. For best results, install on clean, sealed, and smooth surfaces.

How should I prepare the surface before applying the sign?

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or silicone coatings before mounting. Avoid applying to non-stick paints or rough textures. Maximum bond strength is achieved after 24 hours.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Once an order enters production, it cannot be modified or cancelled. Please confirm artwork and specifications before submitting. Mediapoint’s system begins automated printing and taping immediately to maintain fast turnaround times.

Do you offer accounts, or is prepayment required?

All orders require prepayment unless you have an approved Mediapoint trade account. Accounts are available to resellers spending over $20,000 annually with a solid payment history and credit rating.

Can I get a sample before a large Corflute® order?

Yes. We recommend ordering a small sample before larger runs, especially when testing adhesion or recycled material tone. This allows you to confirm print, colour, and tape positioning before full production.

What are the turnaround times?

If artwork is approved before our daily cut-off, production is typically one business day for jobs under $500 + GST. For every additional $1,500 + GST in value, add one extra business day. Live turnaround estimates are visible in the Mediapoint portal.

What surfaces will the tape stick to, and which should I avoid?

The Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape adheres best to smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces such as painted metal, glass, PVC, acrylic, polypropylene, and powder-coated panels. Avoid rough, dusty, or porous materials like brick, raw timber, or concrete, as well as non-stick or silicone-coated surfaces. Always clean surfaces before mounting and allow 24 hours for full bond strength.
