Two ways to supply A-frame signs
Printed inserts for an existing A-frame
If your client already owns a steel or plastic sandwich board, we print the two insert panels to fit it. Order them as Corflute® Print Only, cut to the frame's exact size, with a different artwork on each side if needed. If the frame fixes panels with screws or clips, Corflute® with Eyelets adds fitted eyelets. We don't sell the metal frames.
Corflute® A-Frames: no frame needed
A Corflute® A-Frame is one sheet of 3mm Corflute®, printed on both sides, cut and creased, and supplied flat-packed. It folds into an A shape and locks with an interlocking tab, so there's no frame to buy, store or carry. It comes in 600 x 900mm, A1, A2 and A3, with an optional carry handle on all sizes except A3, and each side can carry the same or different artwork. It's light, so it suits promotions, open homes, events and short campaigns rather than permanent pavement signage.

Single vs double-sided
A-frame signs are double-sided by design: a sandwich board has to read from both directions as people pass. For a metal frame, order two insert panels, one per side, as two artworks in the same job. Corflute® A-Frames are printed on both sides as standard, and each side can carry a different message, such as breakfast on one side and lunch on the other.
A-frame sign sizes
Match the printed Corflute® insert to the frame. Common A-frame board sizes are A1 (594 x 841mm), A2 (420 x 594mm) and 600 x 900mm, and Corflute® Print Only panels can be cut to any size up to 2400 x 1200mm, ordered online. Frames & finishing
We don't sell A-frame sign frames. For a client with an existing frame, we print the insert panels to its size; add eyelets if the frame needs them, or order Print Only for clean edges. For a client without a frame, the Corflute® A-Frame needs no hardware at all. Two other freestanding options: toblerone signs and bollard signs.

What is an A-frame sign?
An A-frame sign, also called a sandwich board, is a free-standing two-sided sign that sits on the footpath in an A shape. It's either a metal or plastic frame holding two printed panels, or a one-piece Corflute® A-frame that folds into shape with no frame at all.
Do you supply the A-frame as well as the print?
We don't sell metal A-frames. We print Corflute® insert panels to fit the frame your client already has, or the Corflute® A-Frame , a one-piece printed sign that folds into shape and needs no frame.
What size are A-frame sign inserts?
Common insert sizes are A1 (594 x 841mm), A2 (420 x 594mm) and 600 x 900mm, but always match the insert to the frame. Corflute® Print Only panels can be cut to any size up to 2400 x 1200mm. Corflute® A-Frames come in 600 x 900mm, A1, A2 and A3.

Can A-frame signs be used outdoors?
Yes. Corflute® is water-resistant and the UV inks are made for outdoor use. Corflute® A-Frames are deliberately lightweight, so place them out of the wind or weight them down in exposed spots. They suit promotional, temporary and semi-permanent use rather than a permanent pavement sign.
