Each sign is single-sided print only, with a 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape pre-applied to the rear for easy installation. Ideal for mounting to smooth surfaces, walls, or temporary displays, these signs combine lightweight durability with strong, long-lasting adhesion.

We offer a selection of fixed tape finishing options that are applied using our automated system for consistency and speed. Custom tape positioning or layouts are not available. As taping is completed during production, this product can only be produced in rectangular sizes.

Our Hyena acrylic-based tissue tape provides a secure bond to most plastics, timber, and composite surfaces, rated for temperatures from -40°C to 100°C. This ensures reliable performance across indoor and outdoor environments.

What is the largest size my Corrugated Plastic Sign with Taping can be?

The maximum sheet size is 2400mm x 1200mm. Custom sizes smaller than this are available but must remain rectangular.

Can I request custom tape positioning?

No. Taping is completed through an automated process using fixed layout options. Custom positioning or selective taping is not available.

Can this product be printed double-sided?

No. Due to the rear tape application, this product is available in single-sided print only.

Can these signs be cut to custom shapes?

No. Only rectangular cuts are supported, as custom contours would interfere with the automated taping process.

What type of tape is used?

We use 24mm Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape featuring solvent-based acrylic adhesive for long-lasting hold on approved surfaces.

Is the tape suitable for outdoor use?

The Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape performs reliably indoors and in short- to medium-term outdoor applications. The solvent acrylic adhesive maintains strong bonding in temperatures from –40°C to 100°C; however, the tissue carrier is not designed for prolonged moisture exposure. For best results, apply to clean, sealed, and smooth surfaces that are protected from direct rain or constant humidity.

How should I prepare the surface before applying the sign?

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of oil or dust. Full adhesion strength develops after 24 hours of bonding time.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Once your order is submitted, it immediately enters production and cannot be changed or cancelled. Please check artwork carefully before confirming.

Do you offer accounts, or is prepayment required?

All orders require prepayment unless you hold an approved trade account. Accounts are available for resellers spending over $20,000 annually with good credit history.

Can I get a sample before a large order?

Yes. For larger projects, we recommend ordering a small paid sample to confirm print and tape positioning before proceeding. If this option is not taken any issues with print or the finish will become your responsibility.

What is the print finish?

All Corrugated Plastic Signs with Taping are printed using UV-cured inks with a satin-matte finish suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

What are the turnaround times?

If artwork is approved before our daily cut-off, production is typically one business day for orders under $500+ GST, with additional business days added per $1,500+GST.

What surfaces will the tape stick to, and which should I avoid?

The Hyena Double-Sided Tissue Tape bonds best to smooth, clean, and non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass, painted panels, PVC, acrylic, polypropylene, and powder-coated materials. It is not recommended for rough, dusty, or porous surfaces like brick, concrete, raw timber, or textured plastics. Avoid applying to non-stick or low-energy surfaces such as Teflon, silicone coatings, or non-stick paints, as adhesion will be poor. Always ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil or dust before mounting. Full bond strength develops after 24 hours. If unsure, test adhesion on a small area before full installation.

How is Corrugated Plastic different to Corflute?

Corrugated Plastic refers to the material category, while Corflute is a trademarked brand within that category. For this product, we may use corrugated plastic sheets from a range of approved manufacturers rather than Corex Corflute specifically, giving us greater flexibility in material supply and specifications. This allows us to consistently offer features such as reliable taping finishes and more flexible print options. As a result, the material supplied may not always be Australian made, however it is selected to meet our performance, durability, and print quality standards, ensuring reliable and consistent outcomes for trade customers.

Why does pricing change in steps instead of increasing evenly with quantity?

Pricing for Corrugated Plastic with Taping is based on a true cost, sheet-based production model rather than estimated square metre pricing. Sheets are produced in full sizes and the taping finish is applied as a secondary step, so pricing may stay the same across certain quantity bands and then increase only when an additional sheet or production setup is required. This reflects the real cost of materials, finishing, handling, and waste, providing transparent, accurate pricing with no hidden cross-subsidies. Unlike square metre pricing models, which can lead to inconsistencies and inflated costs, this approach delivers predictable pricing and supports stronger, more consistent margins for resellers, particularly on well-optimised layouts.

Can you make exceptions to finishes or turnaround times for one-off Corrugated Plastic with Taping orders?
