Fixed Height Mesh - Top and Bottom Edge Finish

Our Fixed Height Mesh – Top and Bottom Edge Finish Banners come in 1.6m or 1.8m heights with custom lengths available. Each banner is hemmed and eyeletted along the top and bottom edges only, leaving the side edges unhemmed for a streamlined finish and are designed for cost-effective installs.

For easy installation, these banners are hemmed along the top and bottom edges only and finished with clear, non-rust polypropylene eyelets. This provides a clean and reliable solution for securing with cable ties, hooks, ropes or screws.

Mesh Banners are the perfect signage solution for outdoor environments exposed to wind. Made from perforated material, these banners allow air to flow through, reducing wind resistance and preventing the “sail effect” that can damage traditional vinyl banners. This airflow keeps your banner stable and your message visible in all weather conditions.

Widely used in the construction and events industries, Mesh Banners are ideal for site fencing, scaffolding, and large-format outdoor advertising. At Mediapoint, we offer standard 2.4m wide fence panels as well as 50m banner rolls, giving you flexible options for any site.

Our Mesh Banner range includes:
- 12×12 mesh - Premium fine-knit for sharper image detail
- 9×9 mesh - Balanced airflow and print clarity
- 6×6 mesh - Larger knit for maximum wind resistance

All mesh options are printed using high-resolution UV inks for durable, long-lasting results.

FAQ

We offer mesh banners in two fixed heights for this product. 1600mm and 1800mm which are ideal for common fence and scaffold signage applications. These standardised heights allow for fast production and installation while keeping costs low. You can choose any custom length to suit your specific site requirements, with no additional setup charges or trimming fees.
We offer three mesh options, each with a different balance of airflow and print clarity to suit your site conditions. The 12x12 Premium Mesh has a tight weave and offers approximately 80% surface coverage with 20% airflow, making it ideal for high-resolution graphics where visual impact is key. The 9x9 Standard Mesh provides around 70% coverage and 30% airflow, delivering good print quality with improved wind flow. For high-wind environments, our 6x6 Open Weave Mesh allows up to 40% airflow with 60% print coverage, reducing resistance and banner strain in exposed areas.
Banners come heat-welded weld hemmed and eyeletted along the top and bottom edges only and are eyeletted using clear polypropylene Plastgrommet® eyelets. This top and bottom edge finishing is included at no extra charge, making it our most cost-efficient finished mesh banner, providing a secure and professional top and bottom mounting solution straight out of the box. There are no setup fees or hidden costs for finishing, making this an efficient, trade-ready product.
You can select from three eyelet spacing options: 300mm, 500mm, or 1000mm. The 300mm spacing is best suited for high-wind areas or long banners requiring extra support. The 500mm option is the most commonly used and offers a good balance of strength and speed for everyday installs. For low-stress or short-term signage, 1000mm spacing provides faster setup with fewer fixings required.
Yes thanks to their durable PVC mesh construction and reinforced welded edges, these banners are suitable for reuse across multiple projects or events. The eyelets are made from recyclable polypropylene, which won’t rust or degrade like metal. When stored rolled and handled with care, banners can last for many uses depending on environmental conditions. The life of a mesh banner is designed for a full building cycle so up to 12 months.
All banners are printed on our Durst 512R UV LED press using matte-finish UV inks. This print method is highly durable and ideal for outdoor signage, offering crisp detail and low glare, even in direct sunlight. Due to the nature of UV matte inks, colours are slightly more muted compared to solvent or latex printing, so blacks and deeper tones will not appear as glossy or punchy.
Yes, these mesh banners are printed on outdoor-rated PVC mesh using UV-cured inks. They are fully waterproof and resistant to sun exposure, making them a long-lasting solution for fence signage in rain, wind, and direct sunlight. Under normal conditions, they are suitable for outdoor use for up to 2–3 years. However the mesh itself will last up to 12 months depending on the conditions they are in.

We do not recommend cutting banners after production, and we do not offer wind slits (also known as moonholes) as part of our finishing. Each banner is sealed with reinforced welded edges and precision eyelet spacing to ensure strength and stability during installation. Cutting into the mesh whether manually or by adding moonholes can weaken the banner structure and increase the risk of tearing.

Our internal testing has shown that moonholes do not significantly improve wind permeability. In fact, they often lead to stress points that reduce the stability of the banner, especially in high-wind environments. For windy sites, we recommend selecting an appropriate mesh grade (such as 6x6 open weave) and reducing eyelet spacing to ensure proper tension and wind flow.

For orders under $2,000 + GST, production is completed within three business days after artwork is approved. For larger orders, simply allow one extra business day for each additional $2,000 + GST in value. Turnaround is calculated automatically at checkout in your Mediapoint trade portal so you always know what to expect.
Prepayment is required for all orders unless you have a Mediapoint trade account. Trade accounts are available to approved resellers who meet a minimum annual spend and credit criteria. If you're a regular buyer, having a trade account can speed up your ordering process and offer more streamlined billing.

Mesh banners should always be installed under proper tension to prevent flapping and reduce the risk of tearing. They must be secured tightly at all reinforced eyelet points using cable ties, rope, or approved fasteners especially along all edges. Banners that are left loose or unsupported can flap excessively, creating strain well beyond the mesh’s rated wind tolerance.

If tearing occurs, it usually means the banner was subjected to wind loads above the recommended limits, as outlined in our product specifications. In such cases, Mediapoint does not accept responsibility for damage caused by improper installation, lack of bracing, or extreme weather exposure. Always match the mesh grade and eyelet spacing to the wind conditions of your site, and ensure the fence or structure is stable and able to hold tension across the full length of the banner.

Yes. Our system is built specifically for trade resellers and includes full white-label support. You can upload your logo, which we’ll include on the packaging label for brand consistency. We also allow you to attach any required shipping documents, such as packing slips or delivery notes, which are included with the shipment.

All orders are blind shipped, meaning your customer will never see Mediapoint’s branding, only yours. This ensures a seamless and professional experience for your end client, while protecting your reseller relationship.

Our banners are finished with clear polypropylene Plastgrommet® eyelets, which offer several advantages over traditional metal eyelets. Polypropylene is rust-proof, UV-stable, and won’t corrode or stain the banner material over time making it ideal for outdoor use. These eyelets are also lighter and safer to handle, especially in high-traffic areas or construction sites where metal can pose a scratching hazard.

From a sustainability perspective, polypropylene eyelets are fully recyclable and reduce the environmental impact of mixed-material waste. They also allow us to finish banners faster and more efficiently using automated equipment, which keeps turnaround times short and costs low without compromising durability.

No. Fixed Height Mesh with Top and Bottom Edge Finish orders must be placed using the sizes, finishing options, and turnaround times available in our system at the time of ordering, and we’re unable to make exceptions or manually process one-off requests outside of those options. This product runs through structured finishing workflows to ensure consistent edge strength, clean hems, and reliable performance when installed, and our production schedule relies on standardised processes to deliver predictable lead times across trade volumes. We do not have a workaround to bypass the system for individual jobs, even when a request seems small, as it creates risk to workflow, quality control, and delivery commitments. If you have a suggestion to improve the range, regularly require a particular mesh configuration from another supplier, or believe there is sustained demand across multiple customers, we welcome that feedback for consideration as a long-term system enhancement.

This product is fixed at a standard height, which allows us to batch large volumes of orders together on our master rolls and run them efficiently through our Plastgrommet All In One Finishing machine. Because both the print and finishing processes are standardised, we’re able to produce and finish a high number of mesh banners per hour with minimal handling and setup changes. This efficiency significantly reduces production time and waste, allowing us to pass those savings on through sharper pricing and better margins for resellers. If you require a mesh height outside of the fixed options, we offer alternative stock products via the menu, however these are priced higher as they must be produced individually and cannot be batched through the same high-volume workflow.
