More Options for Banner Finishing, Why Eyelet Placement Matters

More Options for Banner Finishing, Why Eyelet Placement Matters

When it comes to PVC vinyl banners, finishing isn’t an afterthought — it’s what determines how the banner installs, performs, and lasts in the real world.

Eyelet placement might look like a small detail, but it directly affects tension, wind performance, sag, and how a banner behaves once it’s mounted. That’s why we’ve built multiple eyelet configurations into our system, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Designed for Real Install Scenarios

Not all banners are used the same way.

Some are tied to temporary fencing.
 Some are stretched across frames.
 Some are installed indoors.
Others are exposed to wind, weather, and repeated handling.

Because of this, different applications require different eyelet layouts. Our banner finishing options allow you to choose the spacing and placement that best suits how the banner will actually be used — not just how it looks on screen.

All 4 Sides — Spaced for Strength and Tension

For banners that need even tension and consistent support, eyelets on all four sides are the most common choice.

You can select from multiple spacing options depending on banner size and exposure:

  • 1000mm spacing – suitable for smaller banners or low-stress installs
  • 500mm spacing – a balanced option for most standard applications
  • 300mm spacing – recommended for large banners, outdoor installs, or high-wind environments

Closer spacing increases the number of fixing points, helping reduce flapping, edge stress, and long-term wear.

Corner-Only Options for Lightweight Installs

In some cases, full perimeter eyelets aren’t necessary.

For lightweight banners, short-term use, or installs where minimal fixing points are required, corner-only options are available:

  • 4 Corners – simple, fast, and cost-effective
  • Top Corners – ideal for hanging banners where the bottom edge needs to hang freely

These options reduce finishing complexity while still providing secure mounting where it matters most.

Built Into Pricing, Production, and Dispatch

Eyelet placement isn’t treated as a manual note or special request.

When you select an eyelet option, it becomes part of the job logic — flowing through pricing, production, and finishing automatically. This ensures:

  • Accurate pricing upfront
  • Correct finishing every time
  • No assumptions made on the factory floor

What you select is exactly how the banner is produced.

Choosing the Right Option

If the banner will be exposed to wind, stretched across a frame, or installed long-term, tighter spacing across all sides is usually the safest choice.

If it’s a short-term promotion, indoor use, or a simple hang, corner-only options may be more appropriate.

The key is matching the finishing to the install — not forcing the install to work around the banner.
