PVC Vinyl Banner – Unfinished (Print Only)

Our PVC Vinyl Banner – Unfinished (Print Only) is the simplest and most flexible banner option we offer. Printed in full colour on 510 gsm outdoor-grade PVC vinyl, it’s supplied trimmed to size only – with no hems, eyelets, or finishing. This gives you a clean, professional print that’s ready for your own mounting method.

Unfinished banners are perfect for budget-friendly promotions, indoor campaigns, or short-term outdoor displays where you want full control over installation. You’ll get the same high-quality Durst UV-cured print as our finished banners – vibrant, sharp, and waterproof – but with faster turnaround and lower cost thanks to the simplified production.

Budget-Friendly & Flexible

With no hems or eyelets, this is our most economical PVC banner option. The clean-cut edges allow you to mount the banner however you like. Tape it to a wall, frame it, or add your own grommets. It’s ideal for short-term use, quick campaigns, or one-off events where you need strong visual impact at minimal cost.

Fast Turnaround, Same Durable Print

By skipping finishing steps, production is faster and more cost-efficient without compromising on print quality. Each banner is printed on 510 gsm waterproof PVC vinyl using Durst UV LED ink technology. The result is a high-resolution, fade-resistant print that looks professional indoors or outdoors for several months.

Durst UV Printing

Printed using our Durst UV LED printer, every banner features crisp detail and vibrant colour with a matte finish that reduces glare under bright light. The UV-cured inks bond directly to the vinyl, producing a scratch-resistant, long-lasting image that won’t peel or crack.

Sustainability

Low-VOC UV Ink Technology

All banners are produced using VOC-free Durst UV inks, cured with energy-efficient LED lamps. This eco-friendly process eliminates hazardous emissions while maintaining outstanding print performance.

Minimal Materials, Less Waste

By removing hems, ropes, and eyelets, unfinished banners use fewer raw materials and generate less manufacturing waste. The single-material PVC design simplifies recycling and reduces the overall environmental footprint.

Durable & Reusable

Printed on tough, commercial-grade vinyl, these banners can be rolled up and reused for multiple events when handled with care. Their longevity helps reduce reprints and overall material consumption.

FAQ

An unfinished banner means it’s printed and trimmed to your selected size, but no additional finishing like hems, eyelets, ropes, or pole pockets is applied. It’s a clean-cut PVC sheet printed in full colour, supplied flat and ready for installation using your preferred method such as taping, clamping, framing, or DIY hardware.
Unfinished banners are best when you want maximum flexibility or a simplified installation. They’re ideal for taping to walls, mounting in frames, or using on timber backings, particularly for indoor signage or outdoor use in calm conditions. If you require reinforced edges for wind resistance or tensioned hanging, a finished banner with hems and eyelets is the better option.
No. Our banners are made from 510gsm PVC vinyl which is precision-cut and doesn’t fray like fabric. However, without hems, the edges lack reinforcement and may be more susceptible to tearing under stress. If your installation involves outdoor exposure or tensioned mounting, we recommend securing all sides evenly or selecting a hemmed product for added durability.
There are several ways to install an unfinished PVC banner. You can tape or glue it directly to a wall, window, or smooth surface for indoor use. It can be stapled or nailed to timber fences or mounted inside a frame or clamp system for a cleaner finish. You can also use a grommet tool to install eyelets manually. Whatever the method, ensure the banner is evenly supported to avoid stress along the cut edges.
Yes, eyelets can be added using a handheld grommet press or DIY eyelet kit. However, hemming cannot be added after printing, as it requires folding and welding, which would alter the finished size. If you’re unsure about your mounting method, we recommend ordering a pre-finished version to save time and maintain clean presentation.
Yes. Our PVC banners are printed with UV-cured inks that are completely waterproof and designed to withstand harsh outdoor environments. The prints are fade-resistant and remain vibrant for up to two years, depending on exposure. The matte finish helps eliminate glare, keeping your message visible even in bright conditions.
We print using a Durst UV LED press, which delivers consistent high-resolution results with excellent colour stability and scratch resistance. The UV ink sets instantly with a matte finish, providing strong visual impact without the shine or glare of solvent or latex alternatives.
Yes we do and we can also cut simple custom shapes on our Zünd cutting table. This includes shapes with up to five smooth points such as circles, rounded rectangles, or clean logo outlines. More complex or concave shapes aren’t available on this product, as we keep our process focused on efficient and consistent cutting for trade production.

No. PVC Vinyl Banner Unfinished orders must be placed using the sizes and turnaround times available in our system at the time of ordering, and we’re unable to make exceptions or manually process one-off requests outside of those options. Even though this is an unfinished banner, it still runs through defined production workflows for printing, trimming, and handling, and our scheduling relies on consistent system rules to maintain reliable lead times across all trade orders. We do not have a workaround to bypass the system for individual jobs, including special requests for manual trimming, alternative handling, or expedited turnaround. If you have an improvement idea, are sourcing alternative banner configurations in volume elsewhere, or believe there is repeated customer demand for additional options, we welcome that feedback for long-term consideration.
