Our Synthetic Posters Custom Shape take everything great about our regular Synthetic Posters and add more creativity. Made from 200 gsm Yupo synthetic stock, these posters are printed in full colour using UV-gel technology and then precision-cut on our Zünd cutting table into simple custom shapes. This allows you to give your posters extra personality whether it’s rounded corners, a logo outline, or a simple shaped edge that stands out on a wall or window.

Each poster is tear-resistant, waterproof, and made to handle short-term outdoor or high-traffic indoor use. We can cut simple convex shapes of up to five points in the outline. Complex, detailed, or concave shapes are not available on this product.

Perfect for retail displays, seasonal promotions, or events, these posters are the next step up from standard rectangles unique, professional, and trade-ready.

Custom Simple Shape Cutting

Each poster is precision-cut on our Zünd cutting table to clean, smooth outlines. You can choose simple shapes such as circles, rounded rectangles, or gentle logo contours anything up to five points in the outline. This gives your designs more personality while keeping production fast and consistent.

What stock is used?

We print on 200 gsm Yupo polypropylene, a synthetic paper that looks smooth like regular paper but is much stronger. It does not tear or soak through if it gets wet and holds colour beautifully. This makes it perfect for areas where posters might be touched often or exposed to moisture.

Can these be used outdoors?

Yes, Synthetic Posters – Custom Shape can be used outdoors for short periods or longer in covered areas. They are waterproof and weather-resistant, but we suggest using them out of direct sunlight or rain to keep them looking fresh for as long as possible.

What shapes can you cut?

We can cut simple convex shapes with up to five points in the outline. Examples include circles, ovals, or smooth logo outlines. Complex shapes such as stars with many points, thin lettering, or inward-cut details are not supported because they slow down production and affect edge quality.

What is the maximum size I can order?

We can print and cut posters up to 1200 millimetres wide and 2400 millimetres long. Smaller sizes are available too. Every job is cut to your requested dimensions so you receive posters ready to display right out of the box.

What printing method is used?

Your posters are printed using Canon UVgel technology. The ink cures instantly, producing a matte finish that looks crisp and smooth. It is resistant to fading, scratches, and fingerprints, making it perfect for retail or event displays.

Can I order just a few posters?

Yes, you can order one poster or a whole batch. We handle all order sizes through the same automated trade workflow, so every job big or small, moves quickly and gets the same level of care.

What are the lead times?

If your artwork is approved before our daily cut-off, jobs under $500 + GST usually dispatch the next business day. Orders up to $1,000 + GST dispatch within two business days. For every extra $1,000 + GST, add one extra business day to production. Your exact dispatch date will appear in your account before checkout.

Is lamination available?

No, we don’t laminate Synthetic Posters Custom Shape. The material itself is waterproof and durable enough without any coating. Lamination would only make the product harder to recycle and more expensive.

Can I include multiple shapes or sizes in one job?

Each job must be the same size and shape for all uploaded artworks. If you need different shapes or sizes, just create separate jobs under the same order. This keeps production accurate and consistent across every batch.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Once your order is placed it automatically enters our print queue, often within minutes. Because of this, changes or cancellations aren’t possible. Always double-check your artwork, quantities, and delivery details before confirming your order.

Do you offer split packing or multi-address delivery?

No, each job is sent to a single delivery address. Keeping it that way allows us to maintain fast turnaround times for all trade partners. If you need to send orders to multiple locations, we recommend using a 3PL provider — we can refer you to trusted partners who handle this service for many of our resellers.

Can you help with artwork setup or design?

We don’t provide design or setup help as we are strictly a trade-only printer. However, our system automatically checks artwork for common problems such as missing bleed or trim boxes so your job can move smoothly into production without delays.

Do you offer trade accounts or prepayment only?

All orders are prepaid unless you hold an approved trade account. Trade accounts are offered to resellers with consistent order volume and a good payment record. This keeps pricing fair and stable for everyone in our trade network.

Do you guarantee production or delivery times?

We work to very reliable schedules and aim to meet or beat the turnaround times shown in your account. Over ninety-nine percent of jobs are dispatched on or before the estimated date. While we can’t control courier delays once the job leaves our factory, our logistics partners have proven to be fast and consistent.

Can I order a sample before doing a large run?

Yes, you can order a single sample to see the colour, shape, and finish before committing to a bigger order. This is the best way to make sure your customer is happy before rolling out a full campaign.

Why does pricing change in steps instead of increasing evenly with quantity?

Pricing for Custom Shape Synthetic Posters is calculated using a true cost, linear metre production model rather than per-unit pricing. These posters are produced in continuous runs, with custom cutting applied as a secondary process, and multiple shapes can often be nested across the width of the stock before additional linear metres are required. As quantities increase, pricing may remain flat until an extra row or length of material is needed, at which point it steps up. This reflects the real cost of specialty media, cutting time, handling, and waste, ensuring transparent pricing. Efficient nesting of custom shapes can significantly improve value and margin outcomes for trade customers.

Can you make exceptions to finishes or turnaround times for one-off custom shape synthetic poster orders?

No. Synthetic posters with custom shapes must be ordered using the shape options, cutting parameters, and turnaround times available in our system, and we’re unable to make one-off adjustments outside of those configurations. Custom shaping requires controlled cutting workflows and defined tolerances to ensure clean edges and accurate repeatability, and our system reflects what can be produced reliably at scale. We do not have a workaround for processing off-system shapes or expediting individual jobs. If you regularly require a particular custom shape in volume or see consistent demand across multiple customers, we welcome that feedback for consideration as a future system improvement.
