Backlit Posters
Backlit Posters are made for display inside lightboxes, helping your artwork come to life with rich colour and even illumination. Printed on 285gsm Studiojet translucent polyester film using UVgel technology, these posters deliver sharp detail and smooth tones when lit from behind.
The material has a matte finish that diffuses light evenly, reducing glare while keeping your image bright and clear. It’s ideal for retail environments, cinema displays, and any illuminated advertising frame. Because we print digitally, you’re not limited to standard sheet sizes — we can produce posters up to 1200 millimetres wide and 2400 millimetres long, giving you flexibility for any display.

FAQ
Backlit Poster pricing is based on a true cost, linear metre driven production model rather than square metre estimates. Backlit media is printed in continuous runs using controlled ink densities and colour profiles, and multiple posters can often fit across the width of the stock before additional linear metres are required. As quantities increase, pricing may remain unchanged until the next full row or length of material is needed, at which point it steps up. This approach reflects the actual cost of specialty media, print setup, quality control, and waste, ensuring transparent pricing and predictable outcomes for trade customers.
No. Backlit poster orders must be placed using the materials, print settings, and turnaround times available in our system at the time of ordering, and we’re unable to accommodate one-off variations outside of those parameters. Backlit printing requires controlled ink density, colour balance, and media handling to ensure even light diffusion and consistent illumination, and our production workflows are structured around those requirements. We do not offer manual overrides for individual backlit jobs, as this introduces quality risk and inconsistency. If you have feedback driven by repeat usage, regular volume, or a broader market need, we welcome that input for consideration as a long-term system enhancement.
