Aging

Aging is the process of material changing over time. This includes degrading of the material, deterioration of adhesive, inks fading and material curling.

Mediapoint's stickers ink have a 3 year durability in sunlight. As it gets close to 3 years you will notice the aging process as inks will noticeably fade. Depending on the adhesive used on stickers will affect it aging. For example monomeric stickers have a 3 year durability and polymeric have 5 years durability. At the end of their aging lives the adhesive will stop bonding causing the material to curl.
