How To Install Floor Graphics
Even though Floor Graphics are a great promotional tool, it is also a product which has a lot of liability associated with it. Please take 100% care when dealing with this product as your employees and customers will be walking on them.
Floor graphics are designed to be installed on smooth and flat surfaces. This includes waxed and non-waxed PVC tiles, certain ceramic tiles and sealed concrete.
The floor surface MUST be clean prior to installation. You can use traditional cleaning methods but make sure the surface is dry prior to installing.
Application Method
From the top of the print, peel the backing liner only a couple of cm. Then fold and crease the backing liner behind itself.
Align the print on the floor and with a plastic squeegee or card apply the floor graphic to the surface. Continue pulling the backing paper as you apply pressure to stick the floor graphic down.
Re-squeegee the edges to ensure adhesion.
Maintenance
Do not clean or wax the floor for at least 24 hours as this is the time needed for the adhesive to settle.
Only use a was which meets or exceeds ASTM D 2047 standards.
Avoid any heavy machinery such as forklifts and scissor lifts from travelling on the floor graphic.
If any edge peels then remove the floor graphic immediately.
Removal Instructions
Lift one edge of the graphic.
Pull using short quick strokes. Pull at an angle less than 45 degrees.
