Why is white ink so hard to be digitally printed?
White ink needs to be thicker than other colours in order to be more opaque. Because of this only special printers are capable of having the lines thick enough to carry white ink. Also more maintenance is required to run a white ink printer. Because of Mediapoint's commitment to customer service we are one of the few companies in Australia able to offer white ink printing digitally.
How do I setup white ink on my clear stickers?
In your artwork, anything left blank in your artwork will be clear on the sticker. For white ink you must create a new layer in your artwork and label this 'White Ink'. You must then apply a swatch from our artwork page to where ever you would like white ink printed. Contact us if you have any problems.
How long does White Ink last for?
White ink lasts for 18 months outdoors. To prolong the life of the ink, your clear stickers can be laminated. Contact us for pricing of clear stickers with white ink.
