Our Premium Stickers are made with a durable vinyl rated for at least 3 years use outdoors, meaning that they are waterproof and UV (fade) resistant. These make a great all round sticker where quality and durability are essential.

Dalby State High Schools design has rounded corners, and isn’t a standard rectangle. Fortunately with our digital and guillotine machinery, we can cut these stickers quite efficiently without the need for die cutting. Die cutting can be quite expensive on small to medium sizes. If the printer has not produced stickers before using your exact shape or size, then they will need to make a die especially for your stickers. Having a die made generally costs a couple of hundred dollars. This can made a world of difference when your orders financial worth is somewhat low.

For Dalbys design, we digitally cut around the outside of their sticker, and then guillotined around that in a rectangular shape. This produces their stickers cut to shape, and on a rectangular sized piece of backing paper. There are two main benefits producing stickers in this fashion. This setup requires less labour on our end, and we pass those savings onto you. The second and more important reason is that the stickers can now be more easily applied.

The rectangular piece of backing paper gives each sticker a miniature ‘sheet’ to peel the sticker off. If you haven’t used a bumper sticker in a while, this method makes the sticker tremendously easier to peel and apply.

Their order went off without a hitch, and Darlby State High School was quite impressed with the final product.

MDL Australia recently contacted us with an urgent order for three display stands which needed to be completed and delivered within the following two working days. Luckily for MDL Australia, at Mediapoint Pty Ltd we strive to exceed our customer’s expectations and could easily assist with their tight dead line.

However, because of such a short turnaround time it is important that the artwork for each display stand was to be already finalised and supplied to us in a timely manner. Once we received the artwork for each display stand we like to make sure everything on the artwork is as it should be. We create a mock-up outlining the artwork being printed and its size. After the client receives the mock-up all that leaves us is an approval from the client so we can proceed into production.

During the process of creating a mock-up our staff look over all artwork while they are working with it to ensure a high quality print; colour consistency throughout all three display stands; and to pick up on any obvious spelling errors that may have been missed during finalising the artwork. Since MDL Australia is under such a tight deadline any mistakes during production may cause the job not to be completed in time. There for, it is important to address any issues that might rise as promptly as possible with the client to avoid any problems that might delay production and meeting deadlines.

The Bananacoast Community Credit Union, commonly known as the BCU, came to us recently with a stickers need. After going through what we have available, they decided to go ahead with our Short Term Stickers.

Our Short Term Stickers are rated for a single years use outdoors, meaning that they are waterproof and UV (fade) resistant. These stickers are fantastic for indoor, disposable or short term applications. As there not terribly durable, we can also let them go for an amazing price.

The BCU logo is made up of a loveable pooch and an array of precises colours. Large corporations have very specific colour requirements to ensure their branding stays consistent, to give the right message.

To ensure that their logos and styles are maintained, they produce style or brand guides. These are documents detailing the dos and don’ts on how to represent their branding. They contain details relating to what colours to use, which materials to use, how designs must be laid out, and many other details relating to just about anything visual.

The BCU sent us through their style guide, which allowed us to setup their designs as intended. One of the key points for them, and any other large company, is ensuring colours are correct. As digital printing doesn’t use spot/Pantone colours, we had to physically match their colours. Our talented design and production team was able to successfully match their colours, and provide an amazing result.

After their design was setup, they requested a printed sample. A printed sample involves us producing a small amount of stickers, using your design and desired material. This is a terrific way to test out everything, ranging from colour to how the stickers are cut. We overnight ship all samples so it won’t cause too much of a delay with your order.

After receiving the samples, BCU slightly adjusted their design and went ahead with production. They were very satisfied with the final product, and I’m sure will be returning to us in the future.

This entry is about an order placed with us by Muswellbrook Nissan, a vehicle dealership not too far out from Sydney. They went ahead with a sizeable amount of our Short Term Stickers.

Our Short Term Stickers are rated for at least a single years use outdoors, meaning that they are waterproof and UV (fade) resistant. These stickers are ideal for short term or disposable applications. They’re a great way to get your message across professionally, and also not break the bank.

The other main type of sticker we produce is our Premium range. These stickers are rated to last three times as long, and give a slightly better print. Our Premium Stickers would be the way to go if you’re after not only a high quality print, but also a sticker that will last a long time.

From just these two types of stickers, we can provide a solution that solves most visual needs. We also have other types of stickers available for all types of different applications. We have hardier stickers that will last quite a while longer, we also have stickers with insanely strong adhesives and even stickers that can wrap around a globe without creasing.

We also produce more exotic types of stickers such as ‘cut out’ lettering and One Way Vision (the material with tiny holes, which is usually displayed on vehicle or store windows).

Peachface came to us with their latest skincare product range with all new designs for their product stickers. For our best price on multiple artwork printing with different quantities and sizes it was best to stick with digital printing on our gloss premium sticker stock. Peachface had about 25 different artworks, all different sizes and quantities. We were able to quote Peachface within 24 hours. Compared to the offset printing prices that Peachface had previously researched they were pleased with the quote received from Mediapoint.  If you are interested in labelling your product range at small or large quantities and your looking for efficiency and high quality printing at a reasonable price, I recommend you stick with digital printing. Here at Mediapoint we do both labels on rolls and stickers on sheets for a cheaper option. We offer lamination for a longer durable product at an additional cost and if you may have a tight deadline for your order you may simply ask if we can meet it and we can work out a plan just for you.

With Peachface, they also needed us to include a barcode onto each product sticker. We are equipped to provide this service for our customers as long as they provide us with the correct barcode number for each product (making sure its for the right county code for where ever the products will be distributed).We were able to get back to them with a mockup of all their artwork including the barcodes outlining each individual sticker size and quantity so the client can approve and double check that the order was put through as requested. Once we receive an approval from the client we continue on to production where we race ahead to meet your required delivery or pick up date.

Our latest and greatest product is our laptop skin stickers. Our latest range of laptop skins were made for a local high school, Sunbury College. Sunbury College approached us with their recently acquired laptops for each of their students. They were interested in branding each individual laptop with their school emblem and student name. Here at Mediapoint Pty Ltd we can design and use variable data to create a personalised laptop skin sticker for each student with their name printed, we can do as many variable as needed to cater for any size school or work place.

At the beginning stage of designing for a laptop skin it is important to get the correct measurements for the sticker which will be placed on the top flat surface of the laptop computer. Our most common size for a laptop skin sticker is 270 x 180mm however, we can costume size to whatever laptop size you may carry. On most of our laptop skin designs we found that rounded corners have the nicest finish when applied onto the laptop itself, so we like to recommend this feature to our clients. Working for Sunbury College was very efficient. First step, they supplied us with their school emblem which we then vectorised to achieve the best quality print possible. The final design was achieved by dominantly using the school colours and clearly showing where the student’s name was to be printed on the laptop skin sticker. We soon received an approval on the design mock-up and went ahead to send the client a sample before we completed the entire order. Once Sunbury College received their sample of the laptop skin sticker we asked that they apply it to one of their laptops and see if everything fits correctly. In this case everything was done to size and no adjustments where needed.

Production on the Sunbury College order went through smoothly after applying the variable data which they supplied to us. Production on laptop skin stickers using variable data generally takes about 5 business days depending on the size of the order. However, we do our best to try and surprise our customers with the best service we can possible provide. In the end, our clients could not fault our service and Sunbury College has placed many orders with us since their first venture with Mediapoint Pty Ltd.

Working with Big Ben services has been a pleasant experience. Their latest vehicle wrap features the same design as the van wrap we did for them earlier in the year. However, this wrap was going to be applied onto a different van, a Toyota Hiace. This meant that we had to revisit their design and adjust a few things to re-fit the design elements correctly onto the new van.

At this stage we had all the working design files ready from the previous job, so we simply replaced the vehicle outline from the previous van to the new Toyota Hiace and tweaked the necessary adjustments. Adjustments such as these were things like increasing the size of the logo on the side panels; fitting the grey gradient panel into the new window shape; and playing around with the placement of the starts. At the same time after making all these adjustments it was important to keep the design respectively the same as the original design. Keeping the same colour throughout the vehicles was also important.

After communicating back and forth with our client Big Ben, we came to a conclusion on the final design and proceeded into production. Of course this process takes just about the same amount of time as it would being the first van getting wrapped. It is imperative that we treat every vehicle as though we are working on it for the first time as every vehicle has its own unique features that might interfere with the wrapping process. Here at Mediapoint we try to calculate any problems we might have with the warp before it reaches application stage. We do this to try and save on time or avoid any major mistakes that could occur during application.

In the end Big Ben services were very pleased with the completed vehicle signage, their van now almost looked brand new and stood out of the boring, normal white tradesmen vans.

Helalified Health has come to us and placed another order on our Short Term Stickers.
The original order was for product packaging to go on their range of nuts, fruits and seeds.

This time around, Helaified Health was after a sizeable amount of stickers featuring their logo. We setup their design for them, as unfortunately their design wasn’t in the correct format. We understand that not everyone is an expert in the printing industry or a graphic designer, so we can provide artwork setup/design for a very competitive price.

When we adjust your artwork for any reason, we will provide you with a proof afterwards at no additional charge. You’ll be able to see exactly how the sticker will be printed, and let us know if anything isn’t as it should be. We never go to print unless you’re completely satisfied with your design.

We sent through a proof of their adjusted design, which was approved and soon after went into production.

We can also offer you an actual printed sample. We’ll print a few stickers using your exact design, and ship them directly to you. You can request to have a sample produced whenever you like. There may be additional charges for having samples produced, but we will always confirm any costs upfront before going ahead.

Some of our recent exciting design briefs that we completed were an A6 sized promotional flyer and business card design for Quest Blinds.

Quest Blinds came to us with a pre-existing logo design for their company and wanted to incorporate the same feel from their logo design onto their business cards and some promotional flyers. Their logo was very fun to work with as it had elements that can be used diversely throughout the flyer and business card design. On the promotional flyer design brief, Quest Blinds also wanted to incorporate a selection of images supplied by them to visually show their wide range of products. This was a little bit of a challenge because of the small size frame I was working with and the amount of products, however, I was able to keep the images at a comfortable size where the different products were clearly all visible.

As I worked through the bold yellow/orange colour taken from the Quest Blinds logo through out the designs, the flyer clearly highlighted certain areas from the dark black background, so this gave me a nice contrast to elevate the most important information that Quest Blinds wanted to communicate which in this case were the two promotions and their contact details. Keeping in contact with our client is important during the design process. Communicating and developing all of our client’s requests during this time is essential, together with design expertise and well executed print artwork equals a successful design and happy customer.

In the final stage of our design process, Quest Blinds were very pleased with the final design and approved the mockup which then gives us the go ahead for print production. Choosing the stock and laminate is also important for the final product to stand out, in this case for the business cards we went with a 350gsm with a matt laminate for a strong card and a satin/matt finish and for the flyers we chose a standard 150gsm gloss paper. Quest Blinds and myself were very happy with their flyers and business cards, of course all of our stationary products are offset printed so the print quality and finishing is always exceptional.

This entry is about a long term customer of ours Salads Direct. They frequently place orders on our Short Term Stickers. These stickers are then used as product packaging for their various salads.

These stickers are completely waterproof, and rated to withstand cold temperatures up to -40°C. Those two qualities make these stickers excellent for almost any type of product packing. You can rest easy knowing that your stickers won’t fall to pieces if there placed in the fridge or freezer.

We supply Salads Direct with their stickers kiss cut, and supplied on A4 sized sheets of backing paper. Kiss cut, also known as a half cut, is where we cut only the actual sticker material, and not the backing paper. Kiss cutting can be done through a variety of different ways, whether through a digital or ‘die cutting’ process.

We print our stickers with a digital CMYK process. This works in a very similar way to a standard office inkjet printer, where tiny droplets of ink are sprayed onto a material to achieve a print/colour. The CMYK stands for cyan(C), magenta (M), yellow(Y) and black (K), and are the four colours used to make just about any standard colour.

Having a plain black (K) ink is quite advantageous, as it’s one of the most widely used colours. The colour black does not shift, there’s no light or dark black, just black. Although it’s possible to make a black by combining the cyan, magenta and yellow together, it’s highly inefficient and won’t give you the best possible print.

Making a black using a combination of CMY uses three times as much ink, as opposed to just one dedicated colour. There’s also the issue of the ink running on the material, or smudging at a later date, as there’s more ink then the material can absorb.
